Bam bam ... here we go again ... Yet another mad Strictly Niceness season to be opened on september 11th ... First up on our list of guests, Boohgaloo Zoo.
Boohgaloo Zoo is hailing from Antwerp. It's an all round groovy project lead by the tallest funkyman on Planet Belgium, my brother from another mother K Bonus. Together with U-Gene (keyboards / vocals) and Dj Grazzhoppa (Turntables), they provide a funky-discofied live show with packed with energy and soulful vibes. The party will be taken care off by the usual suspects and Strictly Niceness 's owns Bernard Dobbeleer and Dj Kwak. The show starts at 11 sharp.

In 2002, Brussels was a desert funkwise. Since the legendary Fool Moon venue closed its doors, the unstoppable thirst for soulful black music was growing and growing amongst the fans and dancers. Brussels being an all electro and r&b soup city, 3 dj's, funk fans and above all, friends, decided to set up a funk night over the city . Not that we were alone though. Other guys played deepfunk, soul and hammond grooves, reggae and rocksteady, disco or afrobeat... everyone doing it in its own zone, its own corner. But the 3 made the crossover between the varieties of black music with the will to make those butts and hips shake until the break of dawn. We love to share our passion for black music. We don't hide the labels of the records we play, we are happy to answer questions about the records we play, we are glad and proud to make the public discover classics, rarities and the latest releases.
Imagine Zapp meeting Carleen and the Groovers, Antibalas meeting Lee Perry, Cameo meeting Jimi Hendrix or even MAW meeting EPMD ... Mix it up together, you get STRICTLY NICENESS.
